To process your order or enquiry, we process the data you provide (name, address, email and, if applicable, phone number) in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. For a custom-piece request, we additionally process the preferred material and colour you specify and any reference image you choose to upload. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated or as required by statutory retention periods.
If you sign up for our newsletter, we use the email address you provide solely to send the newsletter. Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: after signing up you receive a confirmation email with a link, and your address is only used once you have confirmed it. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by contacting us by email. Your data will then be deleted without delay.
If you pay with PayPal, we transmit the data required to process the payment (including name, address and order total) to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and our legitimate interest in secure and efficient payment processing (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We use the privacy-friendly analytics service GoatCounter to see how often our pages are visited. GoatCounter does not set cookies and does not store full IP addresses or any other directly identifying information; only anonymised, aggregated visit counts are recorded. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing and statistically evaluating our website according to demand (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Provider: GoatCounter (Martin Tournoij, Netherlands).
If you withdraw from a contract using our online withdrawal function, we process your name, the order details and your email address to handle the withdrawal and to send you the legally required confirmation of receipt (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR in conjunction with § 356a BGB). The data is stored for as long as statutory retention obligations apply.
If you ticked the box at checkout to receive a review e-mail after delivery, we send you one such e-mail about 10 days after shipping (legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR; you can withdraw it at any time by e-mail to mia@miaphoenixx.com). If you leave a review, we store your star rating, your text, the name you entered, the date and the link to your order. The review, name and date are published on the product page (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can ask us to delete your review at any time by e-mail.
